About Grainne
Hi! My name is Grainne and I’m here to help you feel more confident and successful in your learning. I’m a qualified primary teacher with years of experience helping students just like you. I love making lessons interesting and explaining things in a way that makes sense — so you don’t just memorize, you really understand. I break big ideas into simple steps, use examples and practice activities, and make sure we go at a pace that suits you. If you find something tricky, we’ll tackle it together until you feel good about it.

I believe that every student learns best when they feel supported, understood, and engaged. My teaching approach is adaptable — I tailor each lesson to the student’s individual needs, learning style, and goals. I focus on building understanding step-by-step, using clear explanations, practical examples, and plenty of practice.
For younger learners or beginners, I use interactive activities, visual aids, and games to keep learning fun.
For older students, I break complex topics into manageable parts and encourage active discussion and problem-solving.
