About Evie
Hi! My name is Evie and I am currently at Durham University training to be a teacher. I love teaching and take a lot of pride in what i do. I am enthusiastic and passionate and my main aim is to make learning fun so you can fully engage with the subject and get the most out of your learning in order to get the grades you deserve!

I can help with any subject in KS2, English Language and Literature from year 7-11, and then English Language for year 12 and 13. I got a 7 in lit GCSE and a 6 in language and then an A in A-Level language (as well as doing linguistics for a year at Lancaster University). Lessons can be anywhere from 30 mins to an hour and I am happy to teach anywhere from KS2 up to Year 13. Our first session together will focus on getting to know more about you - stuff like what you already know, what your goals are, how you like to learn etc.. My lessons tend to begin with a quick recap of previous lessons and/or seeing what you already know. Then, following this, lessons are adapted to suit your needs and I always try to make them as engaging as possible so you don't just feel like you're being lectured at and we can make the most of our time together :)
