About Luke
Being a programmer, I am a very logical thinker, so teaching not only how to solve problems methodically but also teaching how to think logically is my mantra.
I've always loved maths, especially mental arithmetic, and through over achievement in school found lots of fun methods on how to solve problems. Algebra was hard for me in school but the more I did it the more I enjoyed it, and use it lots in my job as a software developer!
I had a tutor in A Level maths which helped me so much, so I'd like to simulate his methods to help others who struggle in exam style settings like I did, while making it fun! I went from hating algebra to wanting to study maths further at university level, and did my first year of uni with maths!

I am a programmer who studied a year of mathematics in university and does a lot of maths currently in my masters degree in artificial intelligence.
A lesson would typically be an hour, and would go through anything you need help with up to and including GCSE content or past exam paper questions. The first lesson which is free would be assessing what you need help with, and then coming up with a plan with you to see how we can quickly achieve that goal, and get you confident with, and enjoying maths!
My lessons are for any age, including content up to GCSE level, and would try and teach you different methods to help learn, with lots of practice of the concepts to ensure full understanding of a topic!
