About Sandiswa

My name is Sandiswa Shabalala and I have developed a love for teaching because growing up I wish I had someone to help me in subjects I wasn’t the best in and I was shy to attend extra classes in school because of the fear of feeling judged or unintelligent compared to others and looking back at it I realised that it was an unintelligent move.

As time passed I became motivated to become a teacher so I can create a safe space for my students, I want them to not shy away from learning, ask questions, bring new ideas and as my student I need you to know that they is no such thing as a stupid question or a stupid person, everyone is intelligent sometimes we just need a little encouragement and motivation to be great!

About the lesson

I help students become better in English in different ways, such as literature, speaking, reading, writing and also help them gain confidence in public speaking. I also consider students opinions in terms of the knowledge and skills they want to acquire and excel in when it comes to English as a subject and language.
