About Victoria

I recently qualified as an English Teacher, and hold an English degree from the University of Leicester, graduating in 2023. I have career aspirations to work my way up in the school leadership structure and have 4 years of experience tutoring students from the age of 8 up to 18 in English Literature and Language.

About the lesson

I hold the belief that no two students are the same, meaning it would be unfair to say I only have one methodology. I will tailor my lessons to suit the student's individual needs, by gaining an understanding of how they work best, whether it be visually, audibly, or kinaesthetically. I also believe that exam preparation and learning content are as important as each other, so I would ensure that my student has access to lots of content resources as well as my lessons, and would encourage lots of past papers and practice questions which I would mark and give feedback on, as this is where, over time, marks and grades would rise, seeing the student progress thus boosting their confidence and sense of self-belief.

I have known Victoria for many years now, and she is a great friend! Being kind and caring, wrapped up in her bubbly personality means she will make a great tutor- she has great interpersonal skills, meaning she would understand the route if where a student is struggling, and tirelessly working to resolve it. A job is never half done with Vics- she will always go the extra mile to help anyone and everyone!

Victoria is very passionate about English, and is very trustworthy. Her teaching style is unique and adapted for each individual student. I would happily recommend her tutoring to anyone who wants to develop their confidence in English, or to increase their test scores - whatever your student needs, I’m sure Victoria would be an excellent tutor.
