About Lydia

I graduated university with a degree in History and completed a PGCE the following year, allowing me to pursue my passion for teaching. One of the most rewarding parts of being a teacher is watching children begin to believe in themselves and realise what they are capable of.

Outside of teaching, I enjoy reading, learning about history, skateboarding, swimming, and exploring new countries.

I bring my enthusiasm, patience, and love of learning into my tutoring, creating a positive and encouraging environment where every child feels supported and proud of their progress.

As a qualified teacher with three years of experience in Upper KS2, I offer tailored tutoring for children aged 5–11 (KS1 and KS2).

My aim is to make learning fun, engaging, and confidence-boosting! I take a patient, kind, and understanding approach, building positive relationships with each child and adapting lessons to suit their individual needs.

Whether your child needs help preparing for tests, strengthening key skills, working to meet the expected standard, aiming for greater depth, or simply building confidence, I provide supportive, personalised lessons to help them thrive.

Lessons: One hour long, with flexibility to extend when needed.

My goal is to help every child feel confident, capable, and proud of their progress!
