About Chiara

I am a passionate and dedicated teacher who believes that learning should be inspiring, engaging, and tailored to each student’s unique needs. My goal is to create a positive and motivating learning environment where students feel confident to explore, ask questions, and grow at their own pace. With a strong focus on understanding each learner’s strengths, challenges, and goals, I design lessons that are both structured and flexible. I encourage curiosity, critical thinking, and creativity in every class. Whether working with beginners or advanced students, I strive to make complex topics simple, relatable, and enjoyable. What sets me apart as a teacher is my commitment to connecting with my students on a personal level. I don’t just teach a subject - I teach people. I take the time to understand what motivates each learner and use that to help them achieve their best results.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is centered on creating an engaging, supportive, and student-focused learning environment. I believe that every learner is unique, so I adapt my lessons to suit each student’s goals, pace, and preferred learning style. My methodology combines clear explanations, practical examples, and interactive exercises to help students not only understand concepts but also apply them confidently in real situations. What makes me unique as a teacher is my ability to connect theory with real-world application, making lessons meaningful and memorable. I emphasize critical thinking, creativity, and communication - ensuring that students build both knowledge and confidence. I am proficient in teaching in English and basic Afrikaans. I can deliver lessons entirely in one language or try to use a bilingual approach to support comprehension and fluency. Each lesson is structured but flexible. I usually begin with a short warm-up or review of previous material, followed by an introduction of new concepts through examples and discussion. The main portion of the lesson focuses on guided practice and interactive activities that reinforce learning. We end with a brief summary and feedback session to ensure understanding and highlight next steps. Students can expect a friendly, motivating, and collaborative atmosphere where making mistakes is seen as part of the learning process. My lessons are designed for primary school students, ESL students and even adults. Whether you’re starting from scratch, aiming to improve your skills, or preparing for specific goals (like exams, interviews, or academic success), my lessons are tailored to meet your needs.
