About Jahara Lou

Hello! I'm a passionate and dedicated English teacher with more than ten years of experience teaching English online to non-native speakers from different backgrounds. I have earned a Certificate in Mastering the American Accent Training, which allows me to help students improve their pronunciation, speaking clarity, and confidence.

I create a supportive, positive, and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and practicing English without fear of making mistakes. Whether your goal is to improve your grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, reading comprehension, or conversational English, I will personalize each lesson to suit your learning style, pace, and objectives. My goal is to help you become a confident and effective English communicator while making every lesson enjoyable, practical, and rewarding.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and encouraging. I believe that students learn best in a positive and relaxed environment where they feel comfortable making mistakes and asking questions. I tailor every lesson to each student's goals, learning pace, and interests to help them gain confidence and improve steadily.

In my lessons, we focus on grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, pronunciation, and conversational English. I use real-life situations, guided discussions, role-playing, and interactive activities to help students develop both accuracy and fluency. I also provide constructive feedback and useful expressions that students can immediately apply in everyday conversations.

A typical lesson begins with a brief review of previous learning, followed by the introduction of a new topic or language point. We then practice through speaking, reading, or listening activities, and finish with feedback, vocabulary review, and personalized tips for continued improvement.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my positive, patient, and optimistic teaching style. I genuinely enjoy helping students build confidence in English, and I strive to create enjoyable lessons where students feel motivated to speak as much as possible.
