About Ipsita

I’m a B.Tech. graduate in Computer Science, a private tutor, and a book content creator with a strong passion for English, reading, storytelling, and communication. I have experience providing one-on-one academic support to students from Classes 1–6 and understand the importance of creating a patient, comfortable, and encouraging learning environment.

I run a book recommendation channel where I regularly create content about books, authors, characters, stories, and reading experiences. This has helped me develop strong skills in writing, storytelling, communication, and engaging an audience. I bring this love for books into my English lessons by using age-appropriate stories, reading exercises, conversations, and creative activities to make learning more enjoyable and meaningful.

I believe English is best learned through practice and expression rather than memorization alone. I encourage students to read, ask questions, form their own opinions, tell stories, and express themselves confidently while building their grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and writing skills.

I am patient, approachable, and adaptable to each student's learning style and pace. My goal is to create a space where children feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and discovering that learning English can be genuinely fun.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching English is interactive, encouraging, and focused on making students comfortable with the language. I believe children learn best when they can connect what they are learning to stories, conversations, games, and situations they encounter in everyday life.

I usually begin a class with a short conversation, question, story, or activity to understand the student's current level and get them comfortable. We then focus on the main topic, whether it is grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, or comprehension, using simple explanations and relatable examples. I encourage students to participate rather than simply memorize rules, and I use storytelling and creative activities to make concepts easier to understand and remember. Towards the end of the class, I like to do a quick recap or activity to reinforce what we learned.

As a teacher, I am patient and adaptable. I understand that every child learns differently, so I adjust my pace and teaching style according to the student's needs. My experience as a content creator has also helped me develop strong storytelling and communication skills, which I use to make lessons engaging and encourage children to express their ideas confidently.

My classes are primarily intended for students from Classes 1–6, who want to strengthen their English fundamentals, improve reading and writing, build vocabulary and grammar skills, or become more confident in communicating in English.
