About Donna

I am a retired teacher with many years experience working with elementary students. Knowing how important reading and writing is, and missing my students, I have come out of retirement to help struggling students regain the confidence they need to flourish in school. As a parent, I am aware of the heartbreak watching your child struggle and the frustration and pain your child may be feeling. The Barton system is a wonderful program that instills success and rebuilds their confidence and self esteem, as success is quick and easy to see.

About the lesson

Using well designed online applications that are easy to use and interactive. The Barton System, originally designed for students with dyslexia; but works well for all struggling readers, is a multi-sensory, direct, explicit, structured and sequential program designed for intense intervention. There are 10 levels with a number of lesson in each level. Everyone starts at level one, moving along accordingly.
