About David
I just retired From a 35 year engineering career and 17 years as CC adjunct Math and Physics faculty, including 10 years of tutoring from middle school through college. My degrees are: B.S. Astrophysics, M.S. Physics, and M.S. Mechanical Engineering. Also have 35 credit hours in an MBA Program, including 12 credit hours in Accounting. Can teach / tutor a broad range of topics.

My approach is tailored to understanding your needs and implementing an adaptive goal oriented learning program. This includes breaking down course material into real world explanations that you can relate to text book concepts, example exercises, teaching problem solving skills that can be applied to any subject as well as everyday life. I specialize in working with ADHD students and highly anxious ( panic) students. For ADHD, a highly focused method with breaks as needed. For the anxious student, I can teach you to slow your thoughts down and not go blank or have your heart race during a test. I struggled with and overcame both these issues myself with the help of a coach/ mentor. Thus, when need coaching and mentoring are provided. My approach is much more than ju st homework, it's about offering a total system of skills. Tailored to your needs, you may select just the elements that you need.
