About Nicole

I am Nicole Nga, a second-year Biomedicine student at the University of Melbourne. Teaching to me comprises two parts; passion and purpose. My passion for teaching Chemistry is enhanced by my purpose to guide students to gain a deeper understanding of the subject. It's this combination that allows my students to apply their knowledge and strive academically.

About the lesson

- Powerpoint slides will be used during lessons to cover the content of each topic, with review sessions at the end for an interactive tutor-to-student interaction.

- Worksheets will be given to students to consolidate their knowledge of the topic being taught.

- Past-year-questions bank will be given to apply their topic knowledge and understand the exam flow.

- With a passion for Chemistry, I have held free Chemistry workshops via Zoom for high-school and college students during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

- I have experience tutoring students between ages 8-20, and I helped a student improve by two grades in the final A2 Level (UK Syllabus) Chemistry exam.

- My lessons target IB Level, Year 12 and primary & secondary students (Sciences)

- Length of a lesson will be approximately 1-1.5 hours.
