About Angel

Hi! My name is Angel, and I am currently studying Marketing at Southern Methodist University. In addition to being a student, I run my own event and retail business based in Dallas, Texas. Managing a business has strengthened my communication, organization, writing, and problem-solving skills while giving me valuable real-world experience working with clients and professionals.

I have always enjoyed reading, writing, and helping others learn. As a tutor, I strive to create a positive and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my teaching approach to fit each individual's needs and goals.

My experience as both a university student and business owner has taught me the importance of clear communication, strong writing skills, and attention to detail. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills, whether they need support with grammar, reading comprehension, essay writing, vocabulary, or overall academic success.

My goal is to help students not only improve their grades but also develop the confidence and skills they can use throughout their education and future careers.

About the lesson

Hi! My name is Angel, and I am a student at Southern Methodist University with a passion for helping others build confidence in English. My teaching style is friendly, patient, and personalized because I believe every student learns differently.

I focus on creating lessons that are engaging, encouraging, and tailored to each student's goals. Whether you need help with reading comprehension, essay writing, grammar, vocabulary, class assignments, or improving your overall communication skills, I will adjust our lessons to fit your needs and learning pace.

A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous material and identifying areas that need improvement. We then work through guided practice, interactive exercises, reading or writing activities, and real-world examples to strengthen understanding. I always leave time for questions and feedback to ensure students feel confident before moving on to new topics.

What sets me apart is my supportive and approachable teaching style. I understand that learning English can sometimes feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a comfortable environment where students feel confident asking questions and making mistakes. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them become stronger, more independent learners.

My lessons are ideal for elementary, middle school, and high school students, as well as anyone looking to improve their English reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, or study skills. Whether you are struggling with a specific class, preparing for exams, or simply want to become a more confident English student, I am here to help you succeed.
