About Liz
I am an educator teaching in the state of Oregon for the last 11 years. I have 3 years experience as a Reading Interventionist, 5 years experience as a Special Education Teacher of students with behavior disorders and 3 years experience as a Special Education Consultant, consulting with school teams and managing student eligibility for special education.

In teaching the basic skills involved in reading, writing, and math, I use direct instruction with repetition and practice. I will assess your student's current skill level and build upon what he/she/they already knows. I will use standards to help direct what skills need to be obtained and strengthened in order to achieve grade-level skills for each individual student. I also have the ability to adapt and modify skills to be taught to fit the strengths and needs of diverse learners.
