About Jyoti
With over 16 years of dedicated experience in Special Education and Counselling, I offer comprehensive and personalized educational support to children with a wide range of disabilities, including Dyslexia, Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, Visual Impairment, Cerebral Palsy, Intellectual Disabilities, Down Syndrome, etc. My expertise extends to working with the benchmark disabilities listed under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (RPwD) Act, ensuring that students receive the legally mandated accommodations and adaptations that are critical for their academic success and personal development.
I specialize in aligning my teaching methods with the standards of various school boards, including CBSE, IGCSE, and IB, providing accommodations and support systems that cater to the specific requirements of each student. I am highly skilled in creating and implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that address the unique learning styles and needs of students across various age groups. My approach is deeply rooted in using multi-sensory techniques like the VAKT (Visual, Auditory, Kinesthetic, Tactile) method, which enhances students' understanding and retention by engaging multiple senses.
