About Sam
I am a high school student in Vernon looking to help students in general sciences, and give them a better understanding before they go into more specific ones. I am currently going into Grade 11 and I have received high science grades all throughout high school. This year, I was marked top of my science 10 class.

I have many teaching methods that I like to use in a session. I have many sets of cards for games and practice, along with worksheets. I also have notebooks for visual learning, and physical items, such as beads, for kinesthetic learning. Typically, in a session we will go over general basics of whatever the student needs most help in, then go into specifics. If the student has a certain part of science that they are struggling in, or want to focus on something, I will change the lesson plan to accommodate them. I want every student that I work with to feel as though they are learning, while having fun. It is very important to me that they are able to know what they need, and if they don't, to learn ways to decipher what they need. I can teach students from grades 1-10, and I have a fairly flexible schedule.
