About Penny
My name is Tabisile Tyali, and I'm excited to embark on this journey of learning and growth with you. With a strong background in mathematics, including a grade 12 score of 76% and a BCom in Accounting from the University of Western Cape, I'm passionate about sharing my knowledge and expertise with others. But more than just qualifications, I'm here because I understand firsthand the impact of having someone to guide and support you through your academic journey. During my own high school years, I developed a love for mathematics thanks to the help and encouragement of a dedicated mentor. Now, I want to pay it forward and be that helping hand for you. Teaching isn't just about transferring information – it's about fostering understanding, building confidence, and empowering you to reach your full potential. I'm committed to creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where you feel comfortable asking questions, exploring new concepts, and overcoming challenges. She is very patient and ensures that all her tutoring sessions are fun and encourage engagement, making the students more comfortable to express their struggles. She has also tutored Varsity students and helped them gain confidence in transition from High school to University learning. They also did really well in the accounting module she tutored.
