About Jemma

I am a passionate classicist and law student at Downing College, University of Cambridge, with an interest in IP and corporate law. I received 93% in Latin for GCSE, and went on to achieve top grades in A-Level. I also achieved a high grade for Classical Civilisation GCSE, and am interested in classical literature. My focus is on building students' confidence, helping achieve academic goals, and providing clear, reliable guidance.

About the lesson

I craft fully tailored lessons based on each student’s individual needs, preparing in-depth sessions and supplementary resources for independent consolidation at home. Since July 2024, I’ve tutored for a broad spectrum of GCSE and UCAS subjects.

- Grammar and vocabulary fundamentals
- In-depth literature analysis
- Comprehension and translation (including English to Latin)
