About Sharon

Hello! My name is Mr. Sharon Rony, and I specialise in helping GCSE English Literature students succeed in their exams. I focus on Macbeth and A Christmas Carol, breaking down these challenging texts into clear and simple ideas that students can understand and remember. I am a patient, supportive, and organised tutor who takes the time to explain concepts step by step. About the lesson

My lessons are designed to make GCSE English Literature clear, manageable, and exam-focused. I break down complex texts like Macbeth and A Christmas Carol into simple, memorable ideas, helping students understand themes, characters, and key quotes step by step. I use close reading, guided discussion, and exam-style practice to help students develop strong analysis and essay-writing skills. I also provide revision strategies and model answers so students know exactly how to approach different question types with confidence. Lessons are flexible, but usually include a warm-up recap, focused analysis of a text extract or theme, and exam practice with feedback. Experience I have strong communication skills and experience supporting peers with their English Literature exam preparation. While I am new to formal tutoring, I bring patience, clarity, and an organised approach that makes learning easier and less stressful.
