About Kelsey

Originally from Princeton, NJ, Kelsey mentored younger students in writing, college essays, English, French and Spanish while attending Princeton Day School. After graduating from New York University, she went on to specialize in Executive Functioning coaching, assisting students with organization, note-taking, time management, and more. Kelsey studied French literature and language in high school, and worked with multiple Spanish-language dance companies both in Spain and New York. Her academic background and freelance career have allowed Kelsey to work with students of all levels, from those struggling with learning difficulties to high-flying young scholars. Kelsey graduated from the Gallatin School of Individualized Study at NYU with a concentration in theatre, dance, dramatic literature, and anatomy.

About the lesson

As an experienced writing and executive function coach, I can help you with all parts of the writing process. From choosing between prompts to coming up with a strong premise, to drafting an outline and generating the actual text, I will walk you through tried-and-true strategies that have helped hundreds of my students over the last decade.

As a professional dancer and choreographer myself, I have a well-honed ear for the musicality of my student's writer voice, and I'm determined to help you hear it, too!
