About Nusrat
Mathematics to me is another language and it may be just as difficult as learning another language. However, with different outlets of learning, understanding of key concepts is attainable. Creating room for project-based learning and hands-on activities will allow students to gain understanding in different ways that adhere to them specifically.

I teach elementary level mathematics. The use of differentiated instruction based on student needs to allow successful understanding and learning. Data-driven instruction, based on the data collected during instruction, allows for next steps and readjustments based on specific students' needs. Manipulatives and project-based learning are incorporated so students are engaged and discovering different outlets to understanding of concepts and skills. Test preparation is involved due to the fact that most schools require testing as well as in future endeavors test-taking skills are necessary.
