About SA
Hello and welcome! My name is Teacher Sihle and I’m truly excited to be your teacher. I am a qualified and passionate educator with a TEFL certificate and over two years of experience teaching English and literacy skills to young learners, both online and in classrooms. I currently work as a Literacy Coach, teaching reading, writing, phonics, and early grammar to children from Grade R to Grade 3 in both English and isiXhosa. I believe in creating a warm, supportive, and fun learning environment where every student feels confident, valued, and encouraged to grow. I take great pride in being professional, patient, and always prepared, and I tailor my lessons to suit the needs and goals of each learner. As a TEFL-certified tutor with 2 years of experience teaching English and literacy, I take a fun, patient, and student-centered approach to private tutoring. My lessons are interactive, practical, and tailored to meet the unique needs of each learner—whether they are just starting out or looking to improve their speaking, reading, or writing skills.
I specialize in teaching English and early literacy skills (phonics, word building, reading fluency, and sentence construction), especially for children in Grades R to 3. However, I also offer conversational English and grammar support for older students and adults. I aim to build confidence in every student through a warm, encouraging, and goal-focused teaching style.
