Honors B.A. in Linguistics: specialized in language acquisition and phonetics. 120-hour Advanced TESOL Certificate: certified and equipped to teach English to speakers of other languages. Trained in CLT (Communicative Language Teaching approach): prioritizes fluency (i.e. understanding others and being understood) over accuracy (i.e. "correctness"). Outgoing, dynamic, and friendly: provides a safe, judgment-free space for learning, and prioritizes the students' comfort and well-being.
