About MAI
Hello! I am a dedicated English language tutor with a strong background in TESOL and educational research. My teaching philosophy is learner-centered, focusing on autonomy, engagement, and real-world language use. I am passionate about teaching because I believe that language learning empowers individuals, opening doors to new opportunities in education, careers, and global communication. My goal is to help students gain confidence, develop their skills, and become independent learners who can continue improving beyond the classroom.

- My approach to tutoring is learner-centred and focuses on personalising students' learning experience.
- Lessons typically last 60–90 minutes, depending on learner needs and objectives. Shorter lessons (45 minutes) may be used for younger learners or focused skill-building, while longer sessions allow for in-depth practice and feedback.
- My qualifications include a background in TESOL and educational research and experience working with learners of different proficiency levels (beginner to advanced).
- My learners range from beginner to advanced, as I teach both General English and exam preparation (IELTS, TOEFL).
