About Devaki

I am a dancer, actor, singer, choreographer and performance maker from India, now based in London. I complement Masters from RADA, have nearly 15 years of experience training and performing Bharatanatyam and other dance forms. I am also a certified yoga instructor from S-Vyaasa.

About the lesson

Bharatanatyam- I will be training you in the basics of the form, focusing on technique and execution. Semi classical/ Bollywood- I will teach you the steps and expressions of a song of your choice. Abhinaya/ Acting- Focusing on the element of acting or abhinaya in the traditional form, we will work on the techniques and nuances of delivering convincing abhinaya. Yoga- I will train you in yoga asanas and breathing practice that will help to improve your health and general energy.
