About Shayana
My name is Shayana Pillay. I am a third-year Bachelor of Education student. I am an enthusiastic and passionate teacher who is willing to go through great lengths to ensure my students receive the best care and attention to their needs. I am very excited to work with learners to help them become better and help them improve their English and build their confidence. I am a native English speaker with a great understanding of the language and I use my student's own interests to help them grow and get more proficient.

My lessons are made to fit each of my student's needs and their capabilities. There is a great focus on ensuring a solid and strong foundation of the basics and individual problem areas. I am a native English speaker with a vast array of skills and proficiencies in English. I am an avid reader and so I have a great knowledge of specific vocabulary, jargon, and a deep understanding of context. Students can expect to work through their problem areas and build their knowledge and understanding, fueled by their own personal interests. Any student of any age, who is needing help with their English from very basic to advanced level will see a great benefit from my lessons.
