About Clifford

I offer patient, practical online coaching for adult returners. Whether you're dusting off your trumpet for the first time in a decade or trying to fix years of bad habits, I’ll help you rebuild sound, strength, and confidence — step by step. You’ll get: 1-to-1 Zoom lessons focused on your goals No-pressure warmups and embouchure rehab Practical routines that fit real adult lives Clear feedback without the jargon or judgment I’ve spent years learning the hard way. Now I help others shortcut the struggle. Let's see where you're at and make a plan together.

About the lesson

Each lesson is tailored to your individual goals, challenges, and experience level. Whether you're picking up the trumpet after a long break or trying to rebuild healthy habits, the focus is always on progress without pressure. Lessons typically include: A gentle warm-up routine to set the tone Embouchure and breathing work, adapted for your body and history Simple tone, range, and flexibility exercises Help with specific music you want to play — whether that’s Arban, hymns, jazz standards, or just long tones done right Discussion and troubleshooting — what's working, what’s stuck, what you feel I won’t overload you with technical jargon or perfectionist expectations. My approach is rooted in patience, honesty, and understanding what it’s like to struggle.
