About Tanmay

My name is Tanmay. I am a James Scholar and Dean's List recipient for Astrophysics Honors. I failed math in 8th grade, but now I’m an academic scholar and a Math + Physics tutor at University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. Once I figured out how to approach Math, I started helping kids around in my school. I continued this in college. I became a Math tutor in the Math department and now I proudly serve as a Math + Physics Tutor in the Astronomy department. I am certified from International Astronomical Search Collaboration for discovering 28 preliminary asteroids. I love space and I believe Math and Physics are the tools to uncover what it's trying to tell us.

Welcome!

As a student myself, I know exactly how it feels when nothing in the question makes sense, and frustration builds up. I’ve been there, and I’ve figured out the tricks and shortcuts to turn it around.

In our sessions, I’ll share everything I’ve learned to make sure you improve every day. I'll teach you how to develop strong conceptual patterns to tackle questions. Whether you're in grade school, high school, or a college freshman tackling intro physics and math, I'll be there with you every step of the way.

Feel free to send me your materials/assignment beforehand so that we can directly dive into it. We’ll build your understanding concept by concept until you feel confident, and your grades soar. Let’s do this together!
