I’m a junior at the University of Pennsylvania, studying Communications and Consumer Psychology. As a Division 1 volleyball player, I’ve developed discipline and teamwork, which I bring into my role as a tutor. When I’m not studying or playing volleyball, I enjoy being active, cooking, watching TV, and spending time outdoors. With a passion for helping young learners, I specialize in teaching English and writing to preschool and elementary school students, combining creativity and personalized techniques to inspire confidence and skill development.

About the lesson

I believe that learning should be engaging, personalized, and fun, especially for young learners. My teaching method combines interactive activities, visual aids, and hands-on exercises to capture kids' attention and nurture their natural curiosity. I use a blend of phonics-based strategies to build foundational literacy skills and creative writing prompts to inspire expression. By integrating games, storytelling, and role-playing into lessons, I create a supportive environment where children feel confident exploring language.

I bring patience, enthusiasm, and a personalized approach to every session. My lessons are adapted to each child’s unique learning style, strengths, and areas for improvement.
