About Mauricio

Firstly, I am a professional and take my job very seriously. I help my two siblings with their schoolwork and practice important tutor qualities like being patient, adaptable, and tailor my explanations to the child. Honestly, this is something that I have been doing for a very long time and have vast experience in. I just recently got back on this platform after completeing my bachelor's and hope to help as many kids as possible. Despite the break, I still go back to my old schools to teach there. It's fun and helps me become an even better tutor! I truly just love being a tutor and hope to work with as many people who need the help!

About the lesson

I understand that every child has a specific way of learning and especially, as an older brother, I understand the struggles of finding the right way of teaching someone. Through my previous tutoring experience, I have always gone through a process of personalization and using this relationship to then fortify their learning. With the first couple of lessons, I really try to get to know them and make sure we establish that learning environment and mindset with each other. I usually have pre-planned lessons ready unless specific targets/subjects need to be worked on, then I adapt to tutor in what they need. Throughout my life, I have worked with many kids, all with a different way of learning, and have always achieved great results with them!
