I have still to arrange the free class if the student want a possible classes with me. What I would recommend for the AQA history Coursework is to get the 'AQA A-Level Coursework Workbook History: Component 3: Historical Investigation (NEA) by Keith Milne published by Hodder Education.

Perfect! A passionate, caring and very disciplined tutor
Tony was appointed when my daughter was working at a C/D level. Tony is a very calm, patient and disciplined tutor, who always stress tested my daughter's learning through essay setting and honest marking/feedback. Tony did not treat the tuition as ad-hoc lessons, but rather as a programme of learning (all scheduled out in detail) which helped my daughter to achieve an A* grade in her A-level today. I would not hesitate to recommend Tony.

Perfect! Excellent tutor
As an international student who wanted to study politics, Tony was the best tutor I ever had. Despite having no prior knowledge on A-Level Politics, Tony helped me not only to become a solid A*/A grade student, but also broadened my horizon on many political and historical events with his endless knowledge on the topics. With the notes, sources and news he provided to me constantly, I quickly began to improve myself on both the UK and Global Politics. It was a pleasure studying Politics with Tony as my tutor.

I have known Tony Burrett for 6 years as he has been a colleague of mine at Regent College Harrow.

During that time he taught both History and Government and Politics very successfully at A-Level and was a well-respected teacher. His subject knowledge is exceptional and his lessons were always well prepared and he always provided feedback on where improvements could be made with assignments. Further, he has taught all of the different A-level Boards for his two subjects.

As an international student, coming to the UK to study was an exciting though scary experience. Especially because I wanted to study International Relations, which implied writing essays and a lot of reading. Tony provided me with a great knowledge (not only on IR but also on British Politics and History), and most importantly, with confidence. He supported me every time I had doubts and thanks to him, his patience and his passion for his teaching, I am now a second year student at a prestigious university.

Tony Burrett taught my son History A/S level on a one to one basis. He taught from in depth up to date notes mixed with what he simply knew by heart. It was a combination that my son found both educational and inspiring. He enjoyed his tutorials with Tony enormously. His mother and I found Tony to be of good character, conscientious and an excellent teacher. We have no hesitation in recommending him.
