My approach as a tutor:
I am a veterinary medicine student who teaches basic English and basic sciences (introductory anatomy/physiology concepts relevant to animal health). My goal is to make foundational knowledge clear, practical, and memorable so students can build confidence and progress successfully.

Teaching method and techniques:
I use a clear, structured, and interactive approach that combines explanation, practice, and real-world connection:

- Simple language first — I break complex ideas into plain words, then gradually introduce precise terminology.
- Active learning — Frequent questions, short exercises, examples, and “teach-back” moments where the student explains the idea in their own words.
- Error-friendly environment — Mistakes are treated as useful information, not failures. I correct gently and immediately show the correct path.
- Differentiation — I adjust pace, depth, and examples according to the student’s level and learning style.

Typical lesson plan (45–60 minutes)
1. Warm-up / review (5–8 min)
Quick check of previous material + a short retrieval question or vocabulary game.

2. Clear learning objective (1–2 min)
“By the end of this lesson you will be able to…”

3. Explanation + modelling (10–15 min)
Step-by-step teaching of the new concept with examples (especially veterinary or animal-related when useful).

4. Guided practice (10–15 min)
Worked examples together, then the student tries similar problems with support.

5. Independent practice (8–12 min)
Short exercises or speaking tasks done by the student alone; I give immediate feedback.

6. Application / real-world link (5 min)
How this knowledge appears in everyday life, basic science, or future veterinary studies.

7. Summary + homework (3–5 min)
Key points restated by the student + a small, focused task for next time.

Lessons end with a quick confidence check (“How clear was this today on a scale of 1–5?”).

What sets me apart as a tutor
- I am currently studying veterinary medicine, so I naturally connect basic sciences and English to real animal-health contexts. This makes the material more relevant and motivating.
- I remember what it feels like to struggle with foundations, so I am patient and good at finding different ways to explain the same idea.
- I focus on "understanding + application", not just memorisation.
- I give honest, specific feedback and celebrate progress.
- Sessions stay practical and efficient — no unnecessary filler.

Who the lessons are for
- Students who need solid foundations in basic English (grammar, vocabulary, reading, speaking, writing) and/or basic sciences.
- Learners preparing for or currently in secondary school, pre-university, or early university programmes.
- Especially useful for students who plan to enter health, biology, or veterinary-related fields and want clear explanations of core concepts.
- Beginner to intermediate levels; I adapt content for absolute beginners or those who need to strengthen weak areas.
