About Marina

My teaching approach is relaxed, application-focused, and designed to make learning both effective and enjoyable. I connect mathematics to real-world problems, especially in coding logic, algorithmic thinking, discrete mathematics for computer science, and understanding computational processes. I often use programming analogies to make abstract concepts easier to grasp. This helps students see math not just as theory, but as a practical tool. I focus on helping learners develop clarity in their thinking and confidence in their explanations. Lessons are structured to strengthen problem-solving skills and build a strong foundation for computational reasoning. I guide students in understanding proofs, constructing logical arguments, and communicating ideas naturally. This includes working with those who aim to excel in both academic and technical projects. The aim is to connect mathematical ideas to the digital world. This means making math part of your daily problem-solving toolkit. I encourage curiosity, creativity, and patience throughout the process. Together, we work to turn uncertainty into clarity.

About the lesson

I’m a passionate Maths tutor with over 3 years of experience and a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science. My focus is helping students improve their mathematical communication and exposition skills. I believe mathematics is not just about finding answers—it’s about clearly expressing ideas. I take pride in explaining complex concepts in simple, accessible ways. My approach ensures students build both understanding and confidence.

I guide students in writing coherent mathematical arguments, structuring proofs, and presenting solutions effectively. This includes working with university students on essays, research papers, and presentations. I tailor lessons to each student’s needs, combining clarity with practical examples. My goal is to make mathematics both understandable and engaging. I enjoy seeing students transform uncertainty into clarity.
