About Nihaarika

Hi! My name is Nihaarika, and I’m a 16-year-old student from Mason, Ohio, who loves reading, writing, and exploring new ideas. I enjoy singing, playing the piano, creative writing, volunteering, and helping friends with their schoolwork. I’ve earned A+ grades in Honors English 1 and 2 and am currently taking AP Language and Composition. I specialize in tutoring English, reading, essay writing, proofreading, and rhetoric, helping students understand concepts and build confidence in their skills.

About the lesson

I focus on helping students with their English homework, making sure they understand concepts clearly and feel confident completing assignments. My goal is to guide students in reading, essay writing, proofreading, and rhetoric so they can tackle schoolwork independently.

Teaching Methods & Techniques:

Step-by-step guidance: I walk students through questions, essays, or exercises so they understand the reasoning behind each answer.

Interactive discussion: I explain concepts in a clear, relatable way and encourage questions to ensure understanding.

Proofreading & editing support: I help students improve clarity, grammar, and structure in their essays or assignments.

Rhetorical insight: I assist students in analyzing texts and strengthening arguments in their writing.

Typical Zoom Session:

-Review homework or questions: Students share what they’re working on.

-Work through tasks together: I explain, demonstrate, and guide them in completing the work.

-Clarify concepts: I answer questions, provide tips, and make sure they understand before finishing.
