About David

Hi! I am David Parker, and I am a Mathematics tutor with a First Class degree and over 8 years of teaching experience.

Along the way, I discovered I had a natural gift for explaining Maths in ways that genuinely make sense to people. That realisation shaped my entire approach.

I am warm, patient, and easy to talk to. My students never feel judged for not understanding something. I create a space where questions are welcome and progress is always the focus.

I bring deep subject knowledge, a proven track record across secondary school, university, and adult learners, and a high standard of professionalism to every session.

If you are looking for a tutor who is qualified, dependable, and genuinely invested in your success, I would love to work with you.

About the lesson

Maths has a reputation for being intimidating, my job is to change that.
Over the past 8 years, I've helped secondary school students, university undergraduates, and working professionals go from feeling stuck to genuinely confident in Maths, Algebra, and Further Maths.

I make it easy for anyone from secondary school level up — whether you're preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels, or a university course, or simply want to finally understand what's been holding you back.

Each session runs for one hour online. I use visual aids, real-life examples, and practice drills to make concepts stick, not just for the exam, but for good. Every lesson is tailored to you, so we move at a pace that actually works.

I graduated with a First Class degree and have been teaching maths and Further Maths for 8 years. I know the subject deeply and I know how to break it down — those are two very different skills, and I've spent years developing both.

Ready to make Maths make sense? Book a session and let's get started.

Love David's approach to tutoring people. I paused my Master's degree program due to my marriage right after my B.Sc. I have been having a hard time understanding what my lecturers teach because of the years gap I spent after school, but David's way of explaining just made it easy for me to go through the math course without so much friction. He has been an excellent tutor for me.

I love the time David used to explain the topic I thought was once complex.

David is an amazing teacher. I remember him teaching our course mates back when we were in the university, and he did it so well. He later graduated with first class and as the best graduating student in the faculty. If intelligence was a person, then it would be David. Not to exaggerate, but he taught better than the lecturers who owned the course itself.
