About Susan
Hello! My name is Susan, and I am a TEFL-certified English tutor with a genuine passion for helping people communicate with confidence. I am interested in teaching because I enjoy working with people, learning about different cultures, and supporting students as they grow in both skill and self-belief. What draws me to English tutoring is seeing the moment when a student realizes they can express themselves clearly. I enjoy creating a calm, positive learning space where students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and making mistakes without fear. Outside of teaching, I enjoy meaningful conversations, personal growth, and learning new things — interests that naturally influence my teaching style. I bring patience, encouragement, and structure to every lesson, while keeping sessions engaging and practical. I am committed to being professional, prepared, and supportive, and I look forward to helping students build strong, real-world English skills at their own pace.

My approach to private tutoring is relaxed, supportive, and confidence-focused. I use a conversational, practical methodology that helps students actually use English, not just study it. What makes me unique is my calm, friendly style — lessons feel more like real conversations than a classroom, which helps students feel comfortable making mistakes and learning naturally.
I teach in English and focus on real-life communication, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, and basic grammar where needed. A typical lesson includes guided conversation, interactive exercises, and personalised feedback, all paced to suit the student.
My lessons are aimed at beginners to intermediate learners, especially teens and young adults who want to improve speaking confidence, fluency, and everyday English for school, travel, or social use.
