About Maria

I am a professional violinist and a full-time member of the first violin section of the BBC Concert Orchestra. I was previously a member of the Copenhagen Philharmonic Orchestra and have performed internationally as both an orchestral and chamber musician, in halls like the Carnegie hall, Het Concertgebouw and the Royal Albert Hall.

I hold a Master's degree in Violin performance with distinction from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama and a Bachelor's degree in Music with first class honors from the Royal Academy of Music.

Music has been an integral part of my life for many years, shaping who I am both as a musician and as a person. I love sharing my experience and knowledge with others and helping students discover the joy, fulfilment and beauty that playing the violin can bring.

About the lesson

I love sharing my passion for music and helping others discover the joy of playing the violin. Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to develop your technique and musical expression, I tailor my lessons to your individual needs and goals. I believe that with the right approach, everyone can learn how to play the violin.

I aim to create a friendly and supportive environment where you can build confidence, explore beautiful and enjoyable repertoire, and most importantly, develop a genuine love for playing the violin and making music!
