About Andrew

I am a Colorado native, born and raised in Arvada. Went to the Colorado School of Mines initially to become a video game programmer, but then realized I enjoyed math and wanted more analysis in my degree. So I switched to Applied Math and Statistics where I earned my Bachelor's and Master's degrees. After that, I realized that corporate life wasn't the direction I wanted to go. So I began teaching through Front Range Community College and spent 10 years teaching high school in the charter school systems of Brighton and Denver. Topics ranged anywhere from Basic Algebra all the way through Calculus and Statistics. Now I am a full-time Adjunct Math Professor for Mines teaching Calculus.

About the lesson

Lessons will be differentiated to what you need. They can be for any age group, at any degree or level.

Perfect! As a parent, I’ve been very impressed with this math teacher. He’s incredibly flexible with scheduling, which has made it easy to keep lessons consistent. He takes the time to assess my child’s skill level and explains concepts in a way that really resonates with him.
