About Shubhankar
Currently studying computer science in post-secondary and graduated high school under the IB Diploma Program. I have a strong understanding of mathematics and can explain it to others in a simple manner. Have also tutored a few juniors in High School so I have experience teaching. My classes are aimed towards students in grade 11 and under. Depending on the situation, I can also take some grade 12 students. I know many people struggle with math, and I believe the solution is to understand the foundation of the topic you are trying to learn. My classes are well organized but are also structured flexibly. There will be zoom meetings to learn new topics and then weekly assignments. There will also be a time slot each class to go over difficult sums, and instead of just waiting for students to ask questions, I will proactively initiate conversations to aid students understanding of sums students weren't able to solve. I use spaced repetition to help with understanding more complex sums and formulas, and this is a useful learning technique that can also be applied to other subjects.
