About Niyati

I’m a Math tutor with over 3 years of experience and a PhD in Mathematics, specializing in applications for environmental science and sustainability. My teaching bridges pure mathematics with real-world ecological problems. I help students explore how mathematical models can support smarter environmental decisions. I focus on areas like population dynamics, resource management, and climate modeling. These topics are deeply mathematical, but also incredibly practical. I use real ecological data and simulation tools to help students see the impact of their learning. My sessions blend theory with application, making abstract ideas feel meaningful and useful. I guide students in building and analyzing models that reflect real-world environmental systems. We work through differential equations, statistics, and optimization techniques with sustainability goals in mind. I enjoy showing how mathematics can support cleaner energy systems, better land use, and stronger responses to climate change. Students gain technical skills while staying rooted in the larger mission of environmental responsibility. Together, we use mathematics to understand and improve the world around us. About the lesson

My teaching approach in Math is relaxed, thoughtful, and focused on real-world applications. I make sure students feel comfortable while exploring big ideas. We look at mathematics not just as numbers, but as the foundation of logic, coding, and computational thinking. I focus especially on topics like algorithmic reasoning, coding logic, discrete mathematics, and the structure behind computational processes. These areas are essential for students interested in computer science and problem-solving. I often use programming analogies to explain mathematical concepts, helping students relate formulas to digital systems they already interact with. As both an Architect and a Proof Seeker, I guide students through building strong logical structures and understanding why solutions work. We go beyond memorizing steps and focus on understanding the “why” behind every method. Students are encouraged to speak freely and naturally about complex problems, building their confidence in both math and communication. Each session is designed to help them think clearly and reason well. I support every student in moving at their own pace while aiming high. Through our lessons, we turn math into a tool they can use in coding, design, or data analysis. Together, we make math a part of their digital life—something they can use, enjoy, and rely on.
