About Christian

Hello, my name is Christian Parra. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in music Performance from UTEP. I have participated in several music festivals across the country and in Italy. Most recently I've attended the Lunigiana International Music Festival and studied with Yuri Torchinsky and Ksenia Milas. I currently study under the tutelage of Chloe Trevor. I have 8+ years experience in teaching, and in that time I have helped many students progress in their musical journey. Many of my students have played for the El Paso Symphony Youth Orchestras, have won all region auditons, and have won the EPSYO concerto competition. I am known for bringing out the very best out of my students, and I truly believe that every student deserves the chance to play music.

About the lesson

My lessons range from beginner to advanced level. My teaching philosophy is rooted in being caring towards all my students and providing them with a safe learning environment. Being a violinist myself, I understand the nuances of the craft, and hence, can provide comprehensive guidance to my students
