About Lindsay

I am a dedicated STEM tutor with over 10 years of tutoring experience and an academic background in engineering and chemistry. I am currently in my final year pursuing dual degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Chemistry, which has given me a solid foundation in advanced math, problem-solving, and analytical thinking. For the past two years, I have also worked as a Teaching Assistant for General Chemistry, where I supported students in mastering difficult concepts and preparing for exams and completing lab reports. Through both tutoring and teaching, I’ve learned how to adapt explanations to different learning styles and academic levels. I am committed to helping students feel confident in their abilities. I take a professional and supportive approach to every lesson, ensuring students receive clear explanations, structured guidance, and reliable academic support.

About the lesson

My lessons are structured to help students build a strong understanding of the material while gaining confidence in problem-solving. Each session is tailored to the student’s course, goals, and learning style. We begin by reviewing key concepts, then work through examples step by step, followed by guided practice on homework or exam-style problems. I focus on explaining not just how to solve problems, but why the methods work, so students can apply them independently.
My goal is to create a supportive and efficient learning environment where questions are encouraged and difficult topics are broken down into clear, manageable pieces.
