About Elena
I am currently an Imperial College 3rd year Undergraduate student studying Materials Science and Engineering. I have worked with Lanterna Education tutoring IB Chemistry in an intensive Easter revision course in 2016. I have experience tutoring Chemistry, Physics and Maths on a one on one basis for four years.
My passion for drama is reflected in my fun and engaging teaching style. I am familiar with learning difficulties since I am dyslexic myself and have tutored dyslexic students. I aim to help students to develop their confidence and the right positive attitude to their studies. If you live in West/ Central London I can come to your home or deliver sessions online.

Elena is a kind and helpful person that helped and prepared me for my GCSE maths. She is always cheerful and when I didn't understand something, she would explain it well and go through the specific topic in detail. Having Elena as a tutor helped me a lot and I understand more thanks to her.
I am a GCSE student , Elena was very helpful when assisting me with maths and science.I recommend her to my friend and she was very happy with her as well .
Elena Stein provided an excellent advice and support during my son's Common Entrance examinations. She focused on English and Maths and she was knowledgeable and with a natural ability to engage and explain.
I think that she is a great resource and a really lovely person.Elena is kind, extremely intelligent, patient and empathetic. Crucially, she has the ability to explain difficult concepts so they are easily understood. She is an excellent tutor and we highly recommend her.
Elena helped my daughter with her homework and with her maths in year 4. She was always very patient, kind and efficient in her approach. My daughter enjoyed her lessons with Elena. Elena is a lovely person, an excellent role model and an effective tutor.
