About Sam

I am a civil engineering student at NJIT with an associate degree in mathematics from Union County College. My strong foundation in trigonometry and geometry allows me to help students understand concepts deeply, not just memorize formulas. As a student myself, I know how important it is to have an instructor who breaks things down clearly and ensures real understanding. I take a patient, step-by-step approach, adapting to each student’s learning style. My goal is to make math less intimidating and more approachable, helping students build confidence and improve their problem-solving skills. If you’re looking for a tutor who can explain things clearly and help you truly understand trigonometry and geometry, I’m here to help!

About the lesson

I am a civil engineering student at NJIT with an associate degree in mathematics, specializing in trigonometry and geometry. As a student myself, I understand the challenges that come with these subjects and the importance of clear, step-by-step explanations.

My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, logical steps so that students can truly understand the material, not just memorize formulas. A typical lesson involves working through key concepts, solving practice problems together, and reinforcing problem-solving techniques to build confidence.

I cater to high school and early college students who need help mastering trigonometry and geometry, whether it's for exams, homework, or just improving their understanding. If you're looking for a tutor who explains things clearly and gets to the bottom of concepts, I'm here to help!"
