About Eric

As an English major at the University of Southern California, I am passionate and interested in teaching writing and reading skills in an academic, professional, or creative setting.

I also have an interest in economics and have completed a minor in Economics at USC. I am happy to teach about economic theories, models, and statistics across a variety of levels. I have taken upper-division level courses in micro and macroeconomics, statistics for economics, and political economy. I am also pursuing another minor in Business Finance.

For high school students, I have experience with a variety of subjects, having taken AP courses in Calculus AB, English Language, Environmental Studies, European History, French Language, Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Physics 1, and US History.

I first tutored while I was a still a high school student. A teacher recommended me as tutor for a middle school student. I taught Spanish for several months, and gained foundational skills in tutoring as well as a passion for teaching.

To start, I would love to receive some basic information about your general needs – what class or work you need help with, what your aspirations in the course are, as well as how often you would like to meet. After receving that information, I will be able to tailor the experience to your needs.

I have previously worked with younger students (14 and below), yet I am happy to work with any age.

Test out a few different tutors, find someone who you are comfortable working with, sharing your adversities with, and generally someone you find motivates you to improve.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What am I looking to improve upon?

Where do I want to get to (i.e. what is the goal?).

How do I learn best?
