My son has now been attending Academia Tutoring for almost 2 months and enjoys going. He receives tutoring 2x's/week for math and reading and has already made improvements and I look forward to his continual progress. Mrs. Salone has also identified other areas for us to tackle. Mrs. Sloan, has a passion for teaching, she is amazing with way of teaching her students in the classroom and outside of the classroom. My children & myself love Mrs. Sloane. She truly knows what she is doing, and we are very appreciated for her.

My granddaughter came home and wanted to show me everything she learned from you.Then, she confidently went through your instructions and proudly informed all of us that she knew her place values. The confidence she displayed was awe-inspiring from ONE tutoring session. (Especially from this little girl who would cower her head and speak softly when asked a school related question.) I -always- knew teachers were the greatest force known to humanity and I witnessed an immediate transformation in my granddaughter’s confidence.

Our wish and goal is to have her on track with her peers and to start loving being at school. She told us she wants to be a teacher like you. I feel you will be the steady guide in this vocation if she choose this path. When she gets older, she will not always remember her lessons you taught her. She will remember how you made her feel. Let me begin with my testimonial on Academia Tutoring in reference to my niece. My niece was in 3rd grade however, her math/reading was at a 1st grade level. On the very FIRST day of her tutoring, Academia engaged her mind and lifted her self-confidence in teaching her a lesson -which she could not comprehend at her own school- by giving her tools to understand at her level. She was so proud of herself that she rushed home and exclaimed to her grandmother that she “got it”.
Academia Tutoring took time to work parallel with her school/teachers and spoke with her teachers on a plan on a weekly basis. There were times that her own teachers would ask her tutors teach and/or explain the school lesson as they knew my niece responds well with the one-on-one tutoring from them. My niece is -now- at her grade level in reading/math and we continue to have tutoring lessons throughout the summer as she enjoys the relationship and the lessons from her tutor.
Please note that my niece’s improvement was not instantaneous but with Academia- they created a plan lead with small momentous achievements in which my niece could self-recognize her own achievement. This is important to build self esteem in a child who is struggling in school and not on the same level with peers. I applaud them wholeheartedly for their love of teaching and for students. Additionally, I gave them kudos for doing slime with my niece as a reward system for a week of lessons. :) Any one looking for a tutor for their kids should begin and end with Academia Tutoring. Mrs.Salone is a wonderful teacher and I know from 1st hand experience she has did marvelous work my all my children and I have 3 she breaks it down and takes her and make the exciting so that the kids can learn will learn at their own pace I give her a 5+stars I have not met a kid yet that didn’t learn anything after entering or leaving her classroom I know she’s a awesome job as a tutor because she was a magnificent teacher for FWISD and she will be truly missed in the classroom I love you Mrs.Salone and keep up the awesome work GOD is going to continue to open doors for you that man can close be blessed and I wish you the best of luck in you new adventure
