About Doug
I am in my 4th year of teaching 8th grade pre-algebra in the Clark County School District and absolutely love what I do. I have taken on the challenge of teaching students who have previously struggled with math and have developed the methods and tools needed to help the great majority of them succeed.
I have filled my life with chances to help other people in many, various ways. Working as a teacher is a fantastic continuation of this life-mission.
Having a diverse background with military service, construction experience, business experience and more, I am able to connect with my students to help them "see" how the math works. Witnessing the change in my students is extremely rewarding.
