About Alexi

My name is Alexi and I am a mathematics instructor at CCNY. I have extensive teaching experience in all levels of elementary and undergraduate mathematics. From kids needing basic help to gifted students training for mathematical Olympiads. I have tutors and trained many with success. Student reviews of my teaching style may easily be found online by searching my name in conjunction with City College.

I enjoy developing creativity and original approaches to solving difficult problems. I help student develop strategies to reach their goals.

During my undergraduate studies in Russia and Georgia.

I have prepared students for mathematical competition for most of my life. Most recently I completed a masters at Queens College and I am completing a PhD at CUNY Graduate Center in mathematics. Prior, I completed a bachelors degree in Tiblisi, Georgia, along with years of teaching and research work at Tiblisi University and further additional studying at Moscow University. My love for math has been life long and my experience with helping students understand math at all levels is in depth due to years of practice. I also teach third/fourth year college mathematics at City College and other CUNY schools.
