About Alex
I have been playing the violin for 22 years! I started playing the violin when I was 3 years old and have gone through 8 of the 10 Suzuki books. I participated in advanced orchestra in high school and have been in the university strings orchestra at BYU.

Alex is a very patient and detail oriented violin teacher. He knows the Suzuki violin method best, but can also teach traditional violin methods. He is skilled at the violin, is very intelligent, and is good at explaining how to get the best sound from the instrument. I also appreciate his flexibility and kind demeanor. He is an excellent teacher and I highly recommend him!
