About Shrii

Hi, I'm Shrii! As a recent GCSE graduate in 2023 with top results (Grade 9s and A*s), and holding A-Levels in Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology, I'm now actively pursuing my path towards a career in medicine. This academic background provides me with a strong understanding of the core principles in Maths and Science, and I'm passionate about making these subjects accessible and enjoyable for all students, regardless of their background or learning style. What drives me? Seeing that 'lightbulb moment' when a student finally understands a challenging concept. My commitment to inclusivity stems from my experience as an Inclusion Officer on the Virtual Medical Society. I believe that every student deserves the opportunity to succeed, and I'm dedicated to creating a learning environment where everyone feels supported and empowered. I believe that tutoring is more than just explaining facts; it's about building confidence and fostering a love of learning. I create a comfortable and supportive environment where you feel empowered to ask questions, make mistakes, and grow. Outside of tutoring, I'm an avid book reader, a volunteer who spends time with patients of all age groups at the hospital, and I enjoy playing badminton. I'm also a huge animal lover and provide a safe and caring temporary home for animals in need through a local rescue organisation. This helps me connect with students on a personal level and bring enthusiasm to my lessons. My goal is not only to help you achieve top grades in your GCSEs but also to equip you with the study skills and mindset you need to succeed in your future academic endeavours.
